Craft to Service Exemplified in Nike House of Hoops Mosaic

Tangram artist Tim Main installing Ewing Mosaic at Nike House of Hoops by Footlocker in Harlem.

Tangram realized the Patrick Ewing tile mosiaic at Nike's House of Hoops in Harlem!

Tim Main, old school Tangram shop carpenter back in the Brooklyn days, perhaps best known for his guerilla tile installations in the NYC subway stystem: most notabley "New England Begins in the Bronx" and the controversial depiction of the Bernhard Getz incident, reconnected to help Tangram  realize the vision of Michal Spoljaric Nike Brand Design.

Tim's artisanry was the driving force behind the execution of this project - learn more at www.maintim.com.

At Tangram, the adage of "make new friends and keep the old" still rings true, how nice to connect after all these years and do a new collaboration! Thanks, Tim!

Where the hell is Andre Kerr? Sculpted flying nursing sow and piglets anyone?????
